West Ham vs Chelsea

Chelsea to win -125

Chelsea are in first place with an impressive 10W-3D-1L record, and they will look to continue their winning ways in their match at West Ham on Saturday. The Blues face a difficult matchup as West Ham are 7-3-4 on the year, but the Hammers have hit a difficult patch of form in the last few games.

West Ham is 0-2-1 in their last three games, including losses to Wolves and Manchester City as well as a home draw against Brighton. They face a Chelsea team that is in amazing form, having gone 6-2-0 in their last eight games. The Blues have conceded just 6 goals all campaign while netting 33. They've been dominant.

Chelsea should expect to win almost every game on their schedule. Getting them at -125 to win is an appealing number.

Newcastle vs. Burnley

Burnley to win +220

Burnley and Newcastle find themselves in the relegation mix early in the season. Burnley are 1-7-5, but they have been losing close matches and have only a -6 goal difference and -6.5 expected goal differential (xGD), per FBRef, despite their poor record.

Newcastle are still winless at 0-7-7, and their -14 goal difference and -11.4 xGD both lag behind Burnley. Burnley are in better form, as well, and appear closer to breaking out of their slump, as they are 1-4-0 in their last five matches, compared to 0-3-2 for Newcastle.

Burnley have been the better team this season, and they are improving in form as the year progresses. Burnley to win -- even on the road -- is a bet I like at +220.

Southampton vs. Brighton

Southampton to win +145

Brighton got off to an amazing start this season, and they are still 4-7-3, which is good enough for ninth place, but they have begun to fall off a bit. Brighton are 0-4-1 in their last five, and they have struggled scoring goals all season, getting just 13 goals through 14 games.

Southampton are down in 15th place at 3-6-5, and they are 2-1-2 in their last five matches. They are in better form than Brighton over the past five, and they are ahead on xGD for the season -- +0.2 to -1.4. The Saints should have a good chance to win at home in this fairly even matchup.
