Week 10 Fantasy Football Defensive Streaming: Pick Up the Patriots

A few weeks ago, it would have been unfathomable to stream a disappointing New England Patriots defense. But things can change quickly in the NFL, and the Patriots defense appears to have turned a corner.

In two of their past three games, the Patriots have finished inside the top nine of scoring defenses and more importantly, their opponent this week has been one of the most generous offenses to opposing defenses.

In Week 10, the Patriots head to Denver to take on the Denver Broncos, now led by Brock Osweiler. In his first start of the season last week, Osweiler threw two interceptions and took three sacks in the Broncos 51-23 loss against the Philadelphia Eagles. Now Osweiler returns to Denver in a game that Vegas has the Patriots listed as a 7.5-point road favorite.

While the Patriots pass rush has been subpar this season, they may be able to get some pressure this week against a Broncos offensive line that has given up the 3rd-most sacks (28) and 10th-most quarterback hits (52).

On the season, the Broncos have given up the fourth-most points to opposing defenses. Specifically over the past four weeks, no defense facing the Broncos has finished lower than ninth in weekly scoring. Against Osweiler, an improved Patriots defense is in position for a big week coming off their bye.
