Jameis Winston, QB, Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Week 4 Salary: $6,200

Week 6 Salary: $7,400

Sometimes salary moves are based on performance, sometimes they are based on matchups, and sometimes they are built on a structural change, i.e. a new starter. Unless you're just starting to follow the NFL for the first week (if so, welcome!), then you should know that Jameis Winston's salary move is based on all of the above.

The prodigal quarterback technically returned during the second half of a Week 4 blowout loss to the Chicago Bears, taking over for the record-setting Ryan Fitzpatrick. Week 6, however, marks his true comeback to center stage. The matchup could not be better for his first 2018 start.

The Atlanta Falcons have been easy pickings for Winston throughout his career. He has multiple touchdowns in all five games he's played against them, has at least 261 passing yards and 3 scores against them in his past three, a 66.88% completion mark (his fifth-best rate against any team and best mark against any team he's played more than once), and thrown just 2 interceptions.

His low output against the Falcons is 19.48 FanDuel points, which came in his first meeting against them. He's scored at least 21 in his past three, and 25-plus in two of those.

Atlanta has allowed at least 250 passing yards and 3 scores in each of their past four games, and this week's game is shaping up to have the right conditions for that to happen again. The total for Sunday's game is 57.5, highest on the main slate. The highest total between the two teams in Winston's career before this week was 50 on November 3, 2016.

We project Winston to have 21 FanDuel points, tied for our fifth-highest quarterback output for the main slate. At only $7,400 -- an increase of $1,200 from his Week 4 salary -- he returns the highest projected value this week at 2.83 FanDuel points per $1,000.
