Jordan Howard, RB, Chicago Bears

Week 4 Salary: $7,200

Week 6 Salary: $6,200

It's hardly a surprise that Jordan Howard's salary dropped by $1,000 since his last game. To put it mildly, the third-year player out of Indiana has had an underwhelming start to his 2018 campaign.

After a top-10 finish in standard leagues last year, people's expectations were understandably high. Yet Howard enters Week 6 as a high-end RB4 in standard leagues and a low-end RB3 on 1/2 PPR sites like FanDuel. That's not what you want to see from a guy who was being drafted in the second round of fantasy drafts.

Howard is averaging just 3.2 yards per carry, down 0.9 yards from last year and 2.0 yards from his bust-out 2016 rookie season. His workload in the passing game has decreased each week this season, from five targets in Week 1 to just one in Week 4.

He should have fresh legs coming into this week's matchup against the Miami Dolphins, however. He's also may be helped by playing on the road, where he has his only two double-digit fantasy games this season and is averaging 8.8 more FanDuel points than when he's at home.

Our models project Howard to come off his bye week with solid production. We have him at 12.9 FanDuel points. The equivalent value of 2.08 points per $1,000 is the fifth-best mark on the main slate.
