If you're looking to mix things up, you can go down to the very minimum at running back with Justin Jackson.
Melvin Gordon (knee) still isn't practicing, so it looks like Jackson and Austin Ekeler will get the work in the Los Angeles Chargers' backfield again.
Jackson was by far the more effective of the two in Week 13, with 14.2 FanDuel points to Ekeler's 4.3. Ekeler got the bulk of the work, though, playing 78% of the offensive snaps to Jackson's 22% and notching 13 carries and 8 targets to Jackson's 8 carries and 1 target.
That usage makes Jackson a less appealing value than Samuels by a significant margin, but there's still plenty of appeal there. Outplaying Ekeler by such a significant margin could earn him some expanded work, and even if it doesn't, getting 9 or 10 touches from a minimum-salary running back is still reasonable.
The Chargers also draw a great matchup this week, taking on a Cincinnati Bengals team that ranks only 29th in numberFire's Adjusted Defensive Rushing Net Expected Points (NEP) per play metric, positioning Jackson well to turn in another efficient outing.
