Tyree Jackson, QB, Buffalo Bills

Tyree Jackson is one of the most unique quarterback prospects we've ever seen. At 6'7" and weighing in at 249 pounds, Jackson somehow managed to run a 4.59-second 40-yard dash at this year's combine -- faster than a handful of running backs and wide receivers in this class. He's a serious athlete -- and not just for a quarterback.

Jackson was not the most impressive passer for the Buffalo Bulls -- he had a sub-par 56.4 completion percentage in his college career -- but he certainly did show flashes. He finished his redshirt junior season with a decent 7.69 yards per attempt despite completing just 55.3 percent of his passes and finished with a 28-to-13 touchdown-to-interception ratio. His relatively high yards per attempt mark, when combined with his lower completion percentage, illustrates his Ryan Fitzpatrick-esque play style of unleashing fantasy-potent deep passes.

Jackson also landed in an almost perfect situation given his skillset -- the Buffalo Bills. Josh Allen, the Bills' starting quarterback, has a lot in common with Jackson, from propensity to attempt deep passes to top-notch athleticism for a quarterback. Jackson landed in a system built to make the most out of his skill set.

And they might end up doing so, too. Allen missed significant time in his rookie season, and the Bills' sparse quarterback depth chart led them to starting a combination of the until-that-week free agent Derek Anderson for two games and the unfortunately disastrous Nathan Peterman in his absence.

If Allen misses any time during the 2019 season -- and he very well could with the way he aggressively uses his legs -- it wouldn't be too shocking to see Jackson step up and take his place. Jackson's combination of elite athleticism and air-yard-compiling passing could make him a solid streaming option during the 2019 fantasy season.
