Rhys Hoskins, OF, Philadelphia Phillies

FanDuel Price: $4,400

With the news that Jon Gray will be starting for the Colorado Rockies due to a late scratch to Tyler Anderson, the implied total for the Philadelphia Phillies has quickly dropped down to a bland 4.55 implied total, and many could elect to now pass over the Phillies. After all, even though Gray has endured an inconsistent season, he has still maintained his usual strong peripherals, with a 3.64 SIERA, 24.9% strikeout rate, and 7.0% walk rate.

Those aren't very appealing marks to go up against, but the fact remains he has a 5.07 ERA for the year, and even his peripherals haven't been so hot lately. Over his last eight starts, Gray has produced just a 6.63 FIP, 4.76 xFIP, and 16.9% strikeout rate -- hardly scary stuff.

Therefore, particularly if it sounds like the Phillies won't see as much ownership, stacking their side of the Coors matchup could be the way to go in tournaments. Rhys Hoskins has put up a 51.7% fly-ball rate that's perfect for Coors to go with an appealing .360 wOBA and .245 ISO. We shouldn't be surprised if Hoskins knocks one out tonight, and the rest of the Phillies lineup isn't priced up too much, making a stack fairly easy to manage.
