Austin romine heads to Yankees' bench on Sunday
New York Yankees catcher Austin Romine will not start Sunday's game versus the Boston Red Sox.
What It Means:
Romine drew the start behind home plate on Saturday, but will make way for Gary Sanchez to take over on Sunday, with the righty Luis Cessa on the mound for New York.
Through 242 plate appearances this season, Romine has 30 runs, 10 homers and 42 RBI with a .244 average.
