Tigers' Matt Moore (knee surgery) finished for 2019
Detroit Tigers starting pitcher Matt Moore (knee) is done for the season.
What It Means:
Moore underwent surgery Wednesday to repair a meniscus tear in his right knee. The southpaw turns 30 this summer. He signed a one-year contract with Detroit last offseason.
Moore picked up 9 strikeouts and allowed just a lone walk over 10 scoreless innings in two starts for the Tigers this season.
