Kansas City's Hunter Dozier (chest) on track to return next week
Kansas City Royals infielder Hunter Dozier (chest) participated in hitting drills on Friday-Saturday and is expected to join the active roster next week.
According to manager Ned Yost, Dozier is looking to make his return next Thursday. Look for the 27-year old to handle designated hitting duties or start in the lineup immediately if he can play next week.
In 185 at-bats this season, Dozier is hitting .314 with 11 home runs and 33 RBI.
