Blue Jays' Reese McGuire making season debut Sunday
Toronto Blue Jays catcher Reese McGuire is starting in Sunday afternoon's series finale versus right-hander Yonny Chirinos and the Tampa Bay Rays.
McGuire was called up from Triple-A Buffalo this weekend to replace Luke Maile (oblique) on the active roster. He's catching Aaron Sanchez and hitting ninth on Sunday. Danny Jansen is out of the lineup.
McGuire hit .290 with a .914 OPS over a 14-game sample last season in his first taste of the majors.
