Phillies acquire Kyle Garlick in trade with Dodgers
The Philadelphia Phillies have acquired outfielder Kyle Garlick in a trade with the Los Angeles Dodgers.
What It Means:
Garlick will head to Philadelphia in exchange for left-hander Tyler Gilbert. The 28-year old outfielder should have an opportunity to compete for a backup role during spring training.
In 48 at-bats last season, Garlick produced a .250 average with three home runs and six RBI.
