Braves' Freddie Freeman tests positive for COVID-19
According to manager Brian Snitker, Atlanta Braves first baseman Freddie Freeman (COVID-19) has recently tested positive and is currently dealing with a fever.
Freeman is among a group of Braves who recently tested positive for COVID-19 including Will Smith, Touki Toussaint, and Pete Kozma. Look for Freeman to stay in quarantine or isolation until he is able to submit two negative results in a 24-hour time period.
For the upcoming regular season, numberFire models project Freeman to produce a .293 batting average with 11 home runs and 36 RBI in 205 total at-bats.
