Yasiel Puig reportedly signing with Braves
Free agent outfielder Yasiel Puig is signing with the Atlanta Braves, reports Mark Feinsand of MLB.com.
Puig figures to start the year in an everyday role for a Braves team that will be without Nick Markakis for the season and is currently missing Freddie Freeman (COVID-19). The 29-year old slashed .267/.327/.458 with 24 homers, 84 RBI, 76 runs scored, and 19 steals over 149 games between the Cleveland Indians and Cincinnati Reds last season.
Per FanDuel Sportsbook, the Braves have the fourth-best odds (+1400) to win the 2020 World Series.
