Mets' Brad Brach placed on 10-day injured list without designation
New York Mets relief pitcher Brad Brach has been placed on the 10-day injured list Wednesday.
However, there is no official designation with the transaction. As a rule, teams cannot say whether a move to the injured list is COVID-19-related unless explicitly approved by the player, so perhaps that's a factor at play. Brach has been away from the team for undisclosed reasons as of late.
Our models currently project Brach for a 4.16 ERA with a 1.56 WHIP, 20 strikeouts and 9 walks across 17.3 innings pitched this season.
