Royals' Brady Singer making MLB debut Saturday
Kansas City Royals right-handed prospect Brady Singer will start on Saturday versus the Cleveland Indians.
Singer has been named the Royals' No. 2 pitcher to start the season despite never appearing in a game above the Double-A level. He spun a 1.87 ERA with High-A Wilmington but raised that mark to 3.47 with Double-A Northwest Arkansas. Singer struck out 22.5 percent of the total batters he faced across 148 1/3 combined innings. The young righty turns 24 in early August.
numberFire's models expect Singer to score 15.2 FanDuel points in his debut. For the season, Singer is projected for a 5.46 ERA and 1.44 WHIP with 34 strikeouts and 18 walks over 44 2/3 innings.
