Toronto's Ken Giles (elbow) exits Sunday's game with soreness
Toronto Blue Jays closer Ken Giles (elbow) was forced to leave in the ninth inning of Sunday's matchup against the Tampa Bay Rays.
Giles' right elbow injury is currently considered soreness and will need more testing for a better diagnosis. Anthony Bass is the front-runner to close if Giles were to miss any time.
For this regular season, Bass' yearly projection includes a 4.48 ERA and 21 strikeouts in 20 total innings.
