Michael Taylor sitting Monday for Royals' matinee
Kansas City Royals center fielder Michael Taylor is not in the starting lineup for Monday afternoon's series finale against right-hander Spencer Turnbull and the Detroit Tigers.
Taylor has hit safely in six straight starts but he appears to be getting the day off as the Royals wrap up their four-game set against the Tigers. Jarrod Dyson will make the start in center field and hit eighth on Monday afternoon.
numberFire's models project Dyson for 9.2 FanDuel points and he has a salary of $2,000 on Monday's full 11-game slate. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Royals have an implied total of 3.9 runs against Turnbull, who owns the sixth-highest strikeout percentage (31.6) among the 22 listed starters.
