Tyler Naquin taking seat Friday for Cincinnati
Cincinnati Reds outfielder Tyler Naquin is not in the starting lineup for Friday's series opener against left-hander Kyle Freeland and the Colorado Rockies.
Naquin went hitless and struck out three times on Thursday after missing time earlier in the week with a tight hamstring. He didn't appear to suffer a setback and is likely out of Friday's lineup due to the Rockies starting a left-hander. Scott Heineman will replace Naquin in center field and hit seventh.
numberFire’s models project Heineman for 7.0 FanDuel points and he has a $2,000 salary on Friday. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Reds have an inviting implied total of 5.5 runs. Freeland enters Friday with the worst strikeout percentage (11.1) among the slate's listed starters.
