Wilmer Flores on Giants' sidelines Wednesday with tight hamstring
San Francisco Giants infielder Wilmer Flores is not in the starting lineup for Wednesday afternoon's game against right-hander Shohei Ohtani and the Los Angeles Angels.
Flores made an early exit from Tuesday's game and he will be held out of Wednesday's matinee as well. He may be able to return for Friday's series opener against the Oakland Athletics, following Thursday's off day. Mauricio Dubon will cover third base on Wednesday and Steven Duggar will make a start in center field.
Dubon is currently numberFire's third-best point-per-dollar value among hitters on Wednesday. He has a $2,100 salary and our models project him for 11.7 FanDuel points. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Giants have an implied total of 4.0 runs. Ohtani owns the best strikeout percentage (32.9) this season among Wednesday's listed starters.
