Cleveland Indians infielder Jose Ramirez (elbow) is in the starting lineup for Thursday's series opener against right-hander Luis Patino and the Tampa Bay Rays.
Ramirez was held out of Wednesday's lineup with a sore elbow. He is returning to third base in place of Ernie Clement on Thursday and hitting third. Cesar Hernandez is leading off after batting third last game.
