Brewers' Jace Peterson on COVID-19 IL due to contact tracing
The Milwaukee Brewers are placing infielder Jace Peterson on the COVID-19 injured list due to contact tracing.
Christian Yelich tested positive for the virus and Peterson will have to miss at least seven days as a result. Luis Urias is replacing Peterson on third base Tuesday and hitting sixth versus right-hander Luis Oviedo and the Pittsburgh Pirates.
numberFire’s models project Urias for 12.3 FanDuel points and he has a $2,600 salary on Tuesday. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Brewers have an implied total of 4.4 runs. Among Tuesday's listed starters, Oviedo is registering the worst walk rate this season (13.8 percent).
