Manuel Margot sitting for Rays versus Yankees
Tampa Bay Rays outfielder Manuel Margot is not in the starting lineup for Thursday afternoon's series finale against right-hander Gerrit Cole and the New York Yankees.
Margot is moving back to the bench after leading off the last two games for Tampa Bay against left-handed pitchers. Brett Phillips is shifting to right field for Thursday's matinee while Kevin Kiermaier starts in center and hits seventh. Brandon Lowe is covering the leadoff role.
numberFire’s models project Kiermaier for 8.1 FanDuel points and he has a $2,100 salary on Thursday. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Rays have an implied total of 3.6 runs. Cole is registering a 37.8 strikeout percentage in July after posting a 25.4 percent clip in June.
