Kevin Newman kept out of Pirates' lineup Tuesday
Pittsburgh Pirates infielder Kevin Newman is not in the starting lineup for Tuesday's game against right-hander Tyler Mahle and the Cincinnati Reds.
Newman is taking a seat while Hoy Park moves over to second base. Ke'Bryan Hayes is returning to the lineup to play third base and bat leadoff. Cole Tucker is batting second after covering the leadoff spot in Monday's opener.
