Jose Altuve (hamstring) active, in Astros' leadoff role Monday
Houston Astros infielder Jose Altuve (hamstring) is back in action for Monday's series opener against right-hander Jake Odorizzi and the Seattle Mariners.
The Astros activated Altuve from the 10-day injured list on Monday and he is back in the starting lineup for the club's opener versus the Mariners. Altuve is replacing Niko Goodrum on second base and batting leadoff. Chas McCormick has dropped from the top of the order to the seven-hole.
