Drew Ellis idle Monday for Mariners
Seattle Mariners infielder Drew Ellis is not in the starting lineup for Monday's series opener against right-hander Tyler Wells and the Baltimore Orioles.
Ellis covered the hot corner for Seattle on Sunday. Eugenio Suarez is on third base and batting cleanup while Justin Upton is the Mariners' designated hitter and No. 7 batter. Taylor Trammell is replacing Ellis in the starting lineup to play right field and bat fifth.
numberFire’s models project Trammell for 10.2 FanDuel points on Monday, and he has a $2,500 salary. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Mariners’ implied total (4.09) is 11th out of 18 active teams.
