Dodgers' Chris Taylor suffers fractured foot
Los Angeles Dodgers utilityman Chris Taylor has suffered a fractured foot, the team announced Tuesday night.
Taylor underwent a CT scan that revealed the injury. IT's unclear at this time how long he'll be sidelined, but the safe assumption is that it's a relatively lengthy absence coming up. The Dodgers will likely recall Eddy Alvarez from Triple-A, and Trayce Thompson should see a healthy increase in playing time.
In 285 plate appearances this season, Taylor has a .238 batting average with a .728 OPS, 6 home runs, 32 runs, 27 RBI and 6 stolen bases.
