Nationals' Josh Palacios riding pine Friday
Washington Nationals outfielder Josh Palacios is not in the starting lineup on Friday versus right-hander Kyle Gibson and the Philadelphia Phillies.
Palacios started the last three games, following a Tuesday promotion, and went 2-for-10 with a run and three strikeouts. Lane Thomas will move to right field in place of Palacios while Yadiel Hernandez shifts to left. Luke Voit will be the Nationals' designated hitter and Joey Meneses will start on first base and bat eighth. Nelson Cruz remains out with a neck injury.
Meneses has a $2,000 salary on Friday and numberFire’s models project him for 5.6 FanDuel points. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Nationals’ implied total (3.86) is No. 22 on Friday's Main slate.
