Marlins' Lewin Diaz left off Tuesday lineup
Miami Marlins first baseman Lewin Diaz is not in the starting lineup for Tuesday's series opener against left-hander Shane McClanahan and the Tampa Bay Rays.
The lefty-hitting Diaz will sit versus the Rays' southpaw. Garrett Cooper will cover first base and bat cleanup while Luke Williams starts in left field and hits ninth.
Cooper has a $2,500 salary on Tuesday and numberFire’s models project him for 9.2 FanDuel points. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Marlins’ implied total (2.57) is the lowest out of the 30 active teams today.
