Cody Thomas taking seat for Athletics Thursday night
Oakland Athletics outfielder Cody Thomas is not in the starting lineup for Thursday night's series opener against right-hander Dylan Cease and the Chicago White Sox.
What It Means:
Thomas will sit after starting the last four games. Seth Brown will move to left field in place of Thomas while Ramon Laureano starts in right and Cristian Pache enters the lineup to cover the middle and hit eighth.
