Nico Hoerner (triceps) not in Cubs' lineup again Wednesday
Chicago Cubs infielder Nico Hoerner (triceps) is not in the starting lineup for Wednesday's series finale versus left-hander David Peterson and the New York Mets.
Hoerner is out of the lineup for a third consecutive game due to a triceps injury. Christopher Morel will start at shortstop and lead off for the Cubs.
Morel has a $2,600 salary on Wednesday and numberFire's models project him for 8.7 FanDuel points. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Cubs’ implied total (3.23) is the second-lowest in the majors today.
