Hunter Dozier in Royals' dugout Thursday
Kansas City Royals multi-position player Hunter Dozier is not in the starting lineup for Thursday afternoon's series finale against right-hander Josh Winder and the Minnesota Twins.
Dozier will sit after starting at designated hitter and first base in the first two games of the series. Salvador Perez will cover DH on Thursday afternoon and Vinnie Pasquantino will man first base again. MJ Melendez will catch for Jonathan Heasley and lead off the order. Kyle Isbel will enter the lineup to play left field and hit sixth.
Isbel has a $2,000 salary on Thursday and numberFire’s models project him for 7.8 FanDuel points. Per our MLB Heat Map, Winder has the fourth-lowest strikeout rate this season (15.4%) out of Thursday's projected starters.
