Spencer Torkelson sitting Thursday for Tigers
Detroit Tigers first baseman Spencer Torkelson is not in the starting lineup for Thursday afternoon's series finale against right-hander Jonathan Heasley and the Kansas City Royals.
Torkelson will take a seat after going 0-for-7 with a walk and two strikeouts in the first two games of the series. Harold Castro will replace Torkelson on first base and bat out of the cleanup spot.
Castro is currently numberFire's fifth-best point-per-dollar value among batters on Thursday. He has a $2,100 salary and our models project him for 11.4 FanDuel points. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Tigers’ implied total is 3.91 (No. 7 in the majors today) and the game over/under is 7.5.
