Jace Peterson joining Brewers' bench Monday versus lefty
Milwaukee Brewers infielder Jace Peterson is not in the starting lineup for Monday's series opener against left-hander Tommy Henry and the Arizona Diamondbacks.
The lefty-hitting Peterson will take a seat versus the Diamondbacks' southpaw. Mike Brosseau will take over for Peterson on third base and bat out of the leadoff spot. Christian Yelich, who leads off for the Astros against righties, will work out of the cleanup spot as the designated hitter. Hunter Renfroe will hit third and Andrew McCutchen will be the No. 5 batter.
Brosseau has a $2,200 salary on Monday and numberFire’s models project him for 12.6 FanDuel points. He is currently our second-best point-per-dollar value among hitters on the Main slate. Henry has a 5.08 SIERA and a 16.9% strikeout rate across his first 40 2/3 MLB innings.
