Nolan Arenado scratched Monday, Juan Yepez added for Cardinals
St. Louis Cardinals infielder Nolan Arenado has been scratched from Monday's lineup versus right-hander Mitch Keller and the Pittsburgh Pirates.
Arenado was initially penciled in to play third base and bat cleanup, per usual. The Cardinals added Juan Yepez to the lineup to cover the hot corner and hit sixth. Albert Pujols will now work out of the cleanup spot.
Yepez hit a pair of doubles off the bench on Sunday to end a three-game hitless streak. Pujols has a $2,600 salary on Monday and is projected for 10.8 FanDuel points.
