David Peralta (hip) hitting third Tuesday for Rays in return
Tampa Bay Rays outfielder David Peralta (hip) is back in the starting lineup on Tuesday against right-hander Nathan Eovaldi and the Boston Red Sox.
Peralta exited Sunday's game with hip tightness and remained out Monday, but the latter absence might have been due to the Rays facing Red Sox's southpaw Rich Hill. Randy Arozarena will take a breather on Tuesday while Peralta returns to left field and the three-hole.
Peralta has a $2,100 salary on Tuesday and numberFire’s models project him for 10.1 FanDuel points. Since mid-July, Eovaldi has only managed a 16.6% strikeout rate over his last seven starts, and he's allowed 1.30 home runs per nine innings in that span.
