Giants' Austin Wynns idle Wednesday afternoon
San Francisco Giants catcher Austin Wynns is not in the starting lineup for Wednesday's season finale against right-hander Craig Stammen and the San Diego Padres.
Wynns will return to the bench as the Giants wrap up their season. Joey Bart will catch for John Brebbia and bat ninth. David Villar will be the Giants' designated hitter and No. 7 batter while Wilmer Flores starts on first base and bats second.
Bart has a $2,100 salary on Wednesday and numberFire's models project him for 8.0 FanDuel points. Villar has a $2,400 salary and is projected for 7.3 FanDuel points. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Giants' implied total (4.02) is tied for No. 11 in the majors today.
