Padres' Joe Mugsrove (toe/shoulder) set for Saturday debut
San Diego Padres pitcher Joe Musgrove (toe/shoulder) will make his season debut Saturday against the Arizona Diamondbacks.
What It Means:
Yu Darvish's next start will be bumped to Sunday's series finale in Arizona as a result. Musgrove spent the first few weeks of the season recovering from a fractured toe and minor shoulder issue, but he made a pair of appearances in the minors.
Musgrove allowed 7 runs (6 earned) on 11 hits with 14 strikeouts and 1 walk over 9 1/3 innings in the minors while rehabbing.
