Chris Taylor (side) out again for Dodgers Thursday
Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Chris Taylor (side) is not in the starting lineup again versus right-hander Jameson Taillon and the Chicago Cubs in Thursday's series opener.
Taylor came off the bench to pinch-run on Wednesday, but he remains out of the lineup for a third straight day due to left side discomfort. Luke Williams will start at shortstop again and hit eighth.
Per numberFire's MLB Heat Map, the Dodgers have the second-highest implied total (5.42) out of 14 active teams on Thursday and the game total (11.0) is the highest on the board. The wind is expected to be blowing out at Wrigley and Taillon has a 47.6% fly-ball rate so far this season.
