Zach McKinstry idle Wednesday afternoon for Tigers
Detroit Tigers infielder/outfielder Zach McKinstry is not in the lineup against left-hander Rich Hill and the Pittsburgh Pirates on Wednesday afternoon.
The left-handed hitting McKinstry will grab a seat versus the Pirates' southpaw. Andy Ibanez will shift to right field and bat second while Jonathan Schoop enters the lineup to play second base and hit sixth. Matt Vierling will bat leadoff for Detroit.
