Twins' Nick Gordon (shin) lands on injured list
The Minnesota Twins placed Nick Gordon (shin fracture) on the injured list ahead of Friday's game against the Los Angeles Angels.
What It Means:
The team called up outfielder Kyle Garlick in a corresponding move. X-rays revealed that Gordon suffered a fracture in his shin, and he'll need to spend time recuperating on the injured list. Michael Taylor will cover centerfield for him Friday and is listed ninth in the order.
Taylor has a $2,500 salary on FanDuel for Friday's contests and is projected to score 8.3 fantasy points against the Angels.
