Jake Meyers moving to Astros bench Tuesday
Houston Astros outfielder Jake Meyers is not in the lineup on Tuesday versus right-hander Zac Gallen and the Arizona Diamondbacks.
Meyers will sit after going 0-for-4 and striking out twice in Monday's series opener. Chas McCormick will replace Meyers in center field and bat eighth. Corey Julks will start in left and Kyle Tucker will remain in right.
numberFire’s models project McCormick ($2,700) for 7.8 FanDuel points on Tuesday. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Astros' implied total is 3.94 and the game total is 8.0. Ryan has a stellar 3.21 SIERA, 28.9% strikeout rate, and 4.1% walk rate this season. The latter two numbers both rank in the top-four among Tuesday's listed starters.
