Angels' Eduardo Escobar absent Monday
Los Angeles Angels infielder Eduardo Escobar is not in the lineup for Monday's series opener against right-hander Logan Webb and the San Francisco Giants.
Escobar went 0-for-2 with a strikeout as the starting third baseman on Sunday. Mike Moustakas will return to the hot corner Monday while C.J. Cron will reclaim first base and bat fifth. Randal Grichuk will bat ninth after working out of the five-hole on Sunday.
numberFire’s models project Moose ($2,900) for 9.0 FanDuel points on Monday. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Angels' implied total is 4.11 and the game total is 8.5. Webb has a solid 3.45 ERA and 3.57 xERA this season, but his 46.0% hard-hit rate is in the bottom 7th percentile of the majors.
