Brandon Lowe on Rays bench again Tuesday
Tampa Bay Rays outfielder Brandon Lowe is not in the lineup for Tuesday's series opener against left-hander Ty Blach and the Colorado Rockies.
The Rays are holding the left-handed hitting Lowe out for a second straight game as they face another southpaw. Isaac Paredes will cover the keystone again and hit cleanup on Tuesday while Curtis Mead will remain on third base and bat seventh. In related news, Wander Franco was placed on administrative leave Tuesday by Major League Baseball under the Joint Domestic Violence, Sexual Assault and Child Abuse Policy
numberFire’s models project Paredes ($3,100) for 11.8 FanDuel points on Tuesday. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Rays' implied total (5.16) is second-best on the board while the game total is 8.5. Blach ranks in the bottom 10th percentile or worse of the majors this season in xERA (6.51), hard-hit rate (45.3%), and strikeout rate (9.3).
