Dan Vogelbach sitting for Mets Friday
New York Mets designated hitter Daniel Vogelbach is not in the lineup for Friday's series opener against left-hander Patrick Sandoval and the Los Angeles Angels.
What It Means:
The left-handed hitting Vogelbach will sit against the Angels' southpaw. DJ Stewart will shift to DH on Friday while Jeff McNeil moves out to right field and Danny Mendick mans the keystone. Jonathan Arauz will start on third base and bat eighth.
