Tyler Duffey headed to the mound for Twins on Sunday
Minnesota Twins pitcher Tyler Duffey will start Sunday against the New York Yankees.
It appears Duffey will live another day after the Twins considered pulling him from the rotation. During his last outing, Duffey was tagged for six runs in three innings by the Philadelphia Phillies. He may not last as a starter much longer if he's unable to improve his performance.
Duffey holds a 6.18 ERA and 1.58 WHIP for the season. He is 2-6 in 11 starts and owns a 17.95 strikeout percentage across 59 2/3 innings.
