Tyler Nevin on Tigers bench Tuesday
Detroit Tigers infielder/outfielder Tyler Nevin is not in the lineup for Tuesday's series opener against right-hander Gerrit Cole and the New York Yankees.
Spencer Torkelson is returning to first base in place of Nevin while Miguel Cabrera starts at designated hitter and bats fifth.
