Noelvi Marte (face) scratched for Reds on Saturday; Alejo Lopez enters
Cincinnati Reds infielder Noelvi Marte has been scratched from the lineup Saturday in the team's game against the St. Louis Cardinals.
Marte was hit in the face by a ball during pregame warmups. As a result, he has been removed from the lineup for Saturday's contest. Spencer Steer is moving from second base to third, and Alejo Lopez is entering the lineup versus Cardinals starter Zack Thompson.
In 70 plate appearances this season, Marte has a .254 batting average with a .710 OPS, 1 home run, 7 runs, 7 RBI and 6 stolen bases.
