Akil Baddoo batting ninth Wednesday for Tigers
Detroit Tigers outfielder Akil Baddoo will start in left field and hit ninth on Wednesday against right-hander Connor Phillips and the Cincinnati Reds.

Baddoo will work from the bottom of the order for the first time this season after he bat leadoff his last 29 starts. Matt Vierling will shift to third base and bat second while Zach McKinstry takes over as the Tigers' leadoff batter.
