Ketel Marte in Diamondbacks leadoff spot Wednesday
Arizona Diamondbacks second baseman Ketel Marte will start on second base and bat leadoff on Wednesday against left-hander Joey Lucchesi and the New York Mets.

Marte will move into the leadoff role against a lefty while Corbin Carroll takes a seat. He owns a .307/.376/.503 slash line against southpaws this season.

Lucchesi has been pretty awful across 28 innings this season, evidenced by a 5.99 xERA, 19.0% strikeout rate, and 10.7% barrel rate. Based on those numbers, the lefty's 3.54 ERA is quite misleading.
